One Book, One Campus: Dialogues in Social Justice

Boatwright Library is a partner with the campus wide effort to read Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria by Dr. Beverly Tatum. Throughout the 2005-2006 academic year, students, staff and faculty are invited to take one hour out of their schedules to meet together and discuss how racial identity is formed and how it influences our relationships with one another. The book discussions this fall will revolve around Part 1 and Chapter 7. These excerpts are available via the Library Reserves under "One Book, One Campus".
