RSS Updates for New Books in the University Libraries!

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Feeds are now available for new book titles in the University Libraries. RSS provide a way for users to receive a list of newly received book titles through a RSS or Blog Reader.
Times Digital Archives are purchased for the University Libraries' collections

The University Libraries have recently added the Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985 to its growing collection of full-text, digital newspapers. The Archive is the complete, full-text facsimile of the original Times of London. Connect to the Archive on the library's web site at through the UR Library Catalog or Online Databases links.
Library Document Delivery Service

Library Document Delivery Service Document Delivery is available to all UR faculty. It is also now available to staff on a trial basis through the fall 2006 semester. Books and journal articles held in Boatwright or the Music Library can be requested for work related purposes. Please note that Recreational Reading books, DVDs, Videos, Audio Books and Music CDs are not included in the delivery program. Connect to the document delivery web page for further details.
Now Available! Audio e-books from NetLibrary

E-Audiobooks from NetLibrary are digital versions of recorded books from the latest best sellers (fiction and non-fiction) and award winning authors. These titles and more can be downloaded for listening on a PC or other WMA compatible listening device. Check the E-Audiobook web page for more information.

New Look for Libraries’ Web Site

Take a look at some changes on the Libraries’ web site. Take a look at some changes on the Libraries’ website. The site now offers a quick search box for the UR Library Catalog, Library website, WorldCat, or Google Scholar. There is also a quick search for Subject Research Guides and an upfront link to "My Account". Icons are available to the LibMobile page, Library Blog, RefWorks and NoodleBib. Other categories (Finding Information, Services, Getting Help, etc.) remain the same.

LibMobile allows users of the University of Richmond Libraries greater access to library information (UR Library Catalog, PC Availability, Ask a Librarian, etc.) through mobile devices such as cellular phones, PDAs, and Pocket PCs.
