Library Receives Ahmanson Foundation Grant
Boatwright Library has been awarded $12,000 from the Ahmanson Foundation to purchase materials to support the new Dance major. The centerpiece will be Dance in Video, a streaming video service from Alexander Street Press that offers some 250 dance productions and documentaries. Librarians will also work with Dance faculty to identify desirable books.

Chinese Exclusion Act “Remembering 1882” Art Exhibit
January 12 – 19 on the 2nd Floor of BML
Associated to Martin Luther King Jr.’s struggle to combat racism and other anti-humane values, “Remembering 1882” commemorates the Exclusion Act by exploring the historical debate from its origins through its full repeal in 1968, the civil rights struggle of Chinese Americans and their allies, and the historic importance of habeas corpus in the Chinese American community.
