Knit One to Save One - Boatwright Knitters Tea
The Boatwright Knitters are hosting a tea on Wednesday & Thursday, December 10 & 11 Noon in the Rec Reading Lounge in Boatwright Library for Knit One, Save One, a new grassroots effort to help protect the 4 million newborns who die each year in the first month of life in the developing world.
Knitters and crocheters – bring your needles and baby yarn and join us. The Boatwright Knitters are happy to help you begin, finish or learn how to start knitting a hat!
Drop by and pick up a free pattern & start knitting for a good cause. Join us in making a baby cap & signing a letter to President-elect Obama urging him to lead the way to save babies globally.

Food for Fines Day - Friday, December 5, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Campus libraries will forgive $1 in overdue fines for each can or box of nonperishable food item donated. All items will be donated to the Central Virginia Food Bank. Participants include Boatwright, Media Resource Center, Technology Learning Center, Curriculum Materials Center.
